Abstract

Keberhasilan Pabrik Kelapa Sawit (PKS) dapat dinilai dari jumlah CPO yang diproduksi yaitu sebesar 25,75% terhadap massa TBS yang diolah dan memenuhi parameter kualitas CPO. Produksi CPO dipengaruhi oleh proses di Stasiun Klarifikasi. Stasiun Klarifikasi terjadi proses pengutipan kembali minyak yang masih terdapat pada Sludge sebesar 8% menggunakan alat Sludge Centrifuge. Proses pengutipan menghasilkan Light Phase yang mengandung minyak terkutip keluar melalui pipa Recovery Oil Discharge dan Heavy Phase yang menjadi Limbah Cair Pabrik Kelapa Sawit (LCPKS). Percobaan orifice dengan diameter 8 mm, 9 mm, 10 mm, 11 mm dan 12 mm pada pipa Recovery Oil Discharge, sehingga dapat ditentukan penggunaan diameter orifice yang menghasilkan Light Phase dengan persentase kandungan minyak terkutip optimum. Hasil dari percobaan penggunaan orifice dengan diameter 8 mm menghasilkan debit Light Phase 2.996,6 L/jam dan kandungan minyak 20,61%. Penggunaan orifice dengan diameter 9 mm menghasilkan debit Light Phase 2.989,8 L/jam dan kandungan minyak 21,44%. Penggunaan orifice dengan diameter 10 mm menghasilkan debit Light Phase 3.392,5 L/jam dan kandungan minyak 25,78%. Penggunaan orifice dengan diameter 11 mm menghasilkan debit Light Phase 3.410,7 L/jam dan kandungan minyak 22,89%. Penggunaan orifice dengan diameter 12 mm menghasilkan debit Light Phase 4.225,6 L/jam dan kandungan minyak 15,66%. rnrnThe success of the Palm Oil Mill can be assessed from the amount of CPO produced which is 25.75% of the mass of FFB processed and meets the quality parameters of CPO. CPO production is influenced by the process at the Clarification Station. Clarification Station occurs when the oil extraction process is still in the Sludge at 8% using a Sludge Centrifuge. The curing process produces Light Phase containing oil cited out through the Recovery Oil Discharge and Heavy Phase pipelines which are the Palm Oil Mill Effluent (POME). Experiment with orifice with a diameter of 8 mm, 9 mm, 10 mm, 11 mm, and 12 mm in the Recovery Oil Discharge pipe, so that the use of the orifice diameter can be determined which results in a Light Phase with the optimum percentage of quoted oil content. The results of the experiment using orifice with a diameter of 8 mm resulted in a Light Phase discharge of 2,996.6 L / Hour and an oil content of 20.61%. The use of orifice with a diameter of 9 mm resulted in a discharge of Light Phase 2,989.8 L / Hour and an oil content of 21.44%. The use of orifice with a diameter of 10 mm results in a Light Phase discharge of 3,392.5 L / Hour and an oil content of 25.78%. The use of orifice with a diameter of 11 mm results in a Light Phase discharge of 3,410.7 L / Hour and an oil content of 22.89%. The use of orifice with a diameter of 12 mm results in a discharge of Light Phase 4,225.6 L / Hour and an oil content of 15.66%.
