Abstract

Pabrik kelapa sawit merupakan industri pengolahan kelapa sawit berupa Tandan Buah Segar (TBS) kelapa sawit menjadi produk berupa Crude Palm Oil (CPO). Dewasa ini pabrik kelapa sawit menjadi salah satu industri yang mulai diperhatikan karena adanya isu pencemaran lingkungan penyebab emisi gas rumah kaca yang dihasilkan dari gas karbondioksida (CO2) sisa pembakaran bahan bakar solar dan limbah sisa pengolahannya. Pabrik kelapa sawit Pangkalan Panji menggunakan metode ISCC (International Sustainability & Carbon Certificate) untuk menghitung besarnya emisi gas rumah kaca. Perhitungannya meliputi perhitungan emisi yang terjadi di pabrik kelapa sawit dan dari pengangkutan. Dari perhitungan yang dilakukan diperoleh hasil emisi gas rumah kaca sebesar 1.027.031, 66 kgCO2e atau 462, 16 ppm. Sedangkan batas aman konsentrasi emisi gas karbondioksida (CO2) yang diijinkan IPCC adalah 450-550 ppm. Jadi emisi gas rumah kaca yang terjadi di pabrik kelapa sawit Pangkalan Panji masih berada diantara batas aman yang diijinkan IPCC. ?-Palm oil mill is a palm oil processing industry in the form of Fresh Fruit Bunches(FFB) of palm oil into products such as Crude Palm Oil (CPO). Today palm oil mills into one of the industry began to be considered due to the issue of environmental pollution causes greenhouse gas emissions resulting from carbon dioxide (CO2) from the combustion of diesel fuel and residual waste processing. Methode base palm oil mill using ISCC (International Sustainability & Carbon Certificate) to calculate the amount of greenhouse gas emissions. The calculations include the calculation of emissions that occur in the mills and from the transport. From the calculation result of greenhouse gas emissions amounted to 1.027.031,66 kgCO2e or 462, 16 ppm. While safe concentration limit emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2), which permitted the IPCC is 450-550 ppm. So the greenhouse gas emissions that occur in palm oil mills methode base still be among allowable safe limits IPCC.
