PENGARUH DOSIS AKTIF ALKALI PEMASAKAN AMPAS TEBU (BAGASSE) DENGAN PROSES KRAFT?

Seiring berjalannya perkembangan di industri pulp dan kertas ternyata ada beberapa permasalahan dari pasokan bahan baku kayu yang semakin berkurang, oleh karena itu dibutuhkan bahan baku alternatif baru sebagai bahan baku untuk industri pulp dan kertas. Ampas tebu ( bagasse ) merupakan salah satu alternatif persoalan bahan baku tersebut. Penelititan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dosis aktif alkali dalam proses pemasakan bagasse dengan proses kraft. Percobaan dilakukan dengan variasi dosis aktif alkali dengan komposisi dosis 10%, 12%, 14%, dan 16 %. Percobaan ini didapatkan hasil sebagai berikut : yield = 44%, 43%, 40% dan 38%, didapatkan bilangan kappa terendah yaitu 21.11, didapatkan tensile indeks tertinggi 93.35 Nm/gr, tear indeks 11.5 , burst indeks 5.9 kPam2/gr.rnrnAlong with the development in the pulp and paper industry there have been some of the decreasing raw materials, therefore new raw materials are needed as raw materials for the pulp and paper industry. Bagasse (bagasse) is one of the advanced alternatives to the raw material. This research aims to know directly from the process of cooking bagasse with the kraft process. The experiment was carried out with an alkaline active dose with a composition composition of 10%, 12%, 14%, and 16%. This experiment obtained the following results: results = 44%, 43%, 40% and 38%, obtained the lowest kappa number was 21.11, the highest tensile index was 93.35 Nm / gr, tear index 11.5, burst index 5.9 kPam2 / gr.
