Abstract

Tambang batuan yang berada di Daerah Segoroyoso, Kecamatan Pleret yang secara administratif terletak di Kabupaten Bantul merupakan tambang rakyat. Aktivitas penambangan masih menggunakan alat-alat yang sederhana dan masih adanya geometri lereng yang sudutnya hampir tegak lurus dan tidak seragam, dengan sudut rata-rata berkisar antara 65˚- 80˚ sehingga dapat membahayakan keselematan pekerjanya apabila lereng yang ingin di tambang tidak stabil. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat kualitas kestabilan lereng dan kemungkinan jenis longsoran yang terjadi pada lereng dengan menggunakan metode Rock Mass Rating (RMR) dan proyeksi stereografis yang dibuat dengan bantuan software analisis kinematika. Berdasarkan klasifikasi kelas batuan Rock Mass Rating (RMR) (Bieniawski, 1989) pada lereng penelitian memiliki 4 lapisan batuan termasuk kelas batuan II (Baik) dengan nilai bobot total 73,25 dan berdasarkan proyeksi stereografis diperoleh potensi longsoran baji dengan arah longsoran yaitu N 205˚ E.

The rock mine in the Segoroyoso area, Pleret District, which is administratively located in Bantul Regency, is a community mine. Mining activities still use simple tools and there is still a slope geometry whose angles are almost perpendicular and non-uniform, with an average angle ranging between 65˚- 80˚ so that it can endanger the safety of workers if the slope to be mined is unstable. The aim of this research is to determine the quality level of slope stability and the possibility of types of landslides that occur on slopes using the Rock Mass Rating (RMR) method and stereographic projections made with the help of kinematic analysis software. Based on the Rock Mass Rating (RMR) rock class classification (Bieniawski, 1989), the research slope has 4 rock layers including rock class II (Good) with a total weight value of 73.25 and based on stereographic projections, the potential for wedge landslides with the landslide direction is N 205˚ E.
