Produksi migas Indonesia dewasa ini telah mengalami pergeseran dari era dominasi minyak yang mulai menurun (decline), ke era gas yang semakin meningkat. Produksi gas bumi yang semakin meningkat dapat dibagi menjadi 2 (dua) jenis, yaitu: konvensional dan non-konvensional. Shale hydrocarbon berupa shale gas merupakan salah satu non-konvensional resources yang memiliki potensi lebih besar dari konvensional resources. Shale gas memiliki potensi ketersediaan yang besar dan lebih bersih dari pada batubara, yang dianggap sebagai sumber energi paling kotor. Potensi produksi shale gas yang besar akan membantu meningkatkan ketahanan energi dan membantu mengurangi ketergantungan terhadap energi fosil yang mahal seperti minyak bumi dan batubara. Dalam pengerjaan tugas akhir ini, dilakukan evaluasi keekonomian pada salah satu Blok Shale Hydrocarbon di daerah Kalimantan (disimbolkan sebagai Blok A) berupa Shale Gas. Reservoir Shale Gas ini memiliki potensi berupa wet gas sebesar 17,87 TCF. Evaluasi keekonomian ditujukan untuk mengetahui kelayakan dari pengembangan blok tersebut. Kajian ini berdasarkan atas data reservoir, produksi, biaya, dan kontrak yang berlaku dalam pengembangannya. Kajian keekonomian dilakukan berdasarkan beberapa data hasil simulasi reservoir yang memberikan produksi optimum. Selanjutnya menggunakan data tersebut, disusun skenario pengembangan Shale Hydrocarbon Blok A dengan memperhatikan: komitmen, eksplorasi, kemampuan perusahaan membor sumur setiap tahun, pengadaan fasilitas produksi, biaya/investasi, serta terms and conditions dalam kontrak kerja sama dengan pemerintah. Berdasarkan asumsi- asumsi dan parameter-parameter di atas, kemudian dilakukan evaluasi keekonomian. Hasil evaluasi keekonomian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan Shale Hydrocarbon Blok A adalah layak untuk dikembangkan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis sensitivitas indikator keekonomian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan Shale Hydrocarbon Blok A sangat dipengaruhi oleh faktor perubahan produksi dan harga minyak, sensitif terhadap perubahan kapital dan non kapital, serta kurang dipengaruhi oleh faktor perubahan biaya operasi.---Nowadays, the Indonesian oil and gas production has experienced a shift from the dominance of the oil era began to decline, to an era of increasing gas. Escalation production of natural gas can be divided into 2 (two) types: conventional and non-conventional. Shale hydrocarbons such as shale gas is one of the unconventional resources that have greater potential than conventional resources. Shale gas has the potential availability and less pollution than coal, which is considered as the dirtiest energy source. Potential production of large shale gas will help improve energy security and reduce dependence on expensive fossil energy such as petroleum and coal. In this final project, the economic evaluation at one of Block Shale Hydrocarbon in Kalimantan (symbolized as Block A) in the form of Shale Gas. The reservoir of shale gas, has a potential of 17.87 TCF wet gas. The economic evaluation is intended to determine the feasibility of developing the block. The study was based on the data reservoir, production, costs, and applicable contract in its development. Economic studies conducted by some of the reservoir simulation results that provide optimum production. Furthermore, using data compiled blocks of shale hydrocarbon, development scenario with regard to: commitment, exploration, the ability of companies to drill wells every year, provision of production facilities, the cost/investment, as well as the terms and conditions in cooperation with governmen contract. Based on the assumptions and parameters above, then do the economic evaluation. The results of the economic evaluation showed that the development of Shale Hydrocarbon Block A is feasible to be developed. Based on the results of the sensitivity analysis of the economic indicators show that, the development of Shale Hydrocarbon Block A is strongly influenced by changes in the factors of production and the price of oil, sensitive to changes in capital and non-capital, and are less influenced by changes in operating costs.
